This is a 1973, first edition, hard cover, Revolutionary Suicide by Huey P. Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense.
The blue hand script is brilliant over the black and white photo of the revolutionary, shot up, torn. It’s powerful, inspiring, and melancholy.
You can get Revolutionary Suicide: (Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition) here, but it doesn’t include this iconic cover. That’s a shame but I’m buying one anyway. Don’t want to destroy this beautiful rare book.
