Wow, this has gotten out of hand. I need to hire some bloggers because the real world can really distract from the important things, like keeping you all updated on everything Batches Brew. Don’t worry, we have big things planned, and t-shirts coming soon.
If you want to see Batches Brew go prime time, do me a favor. Check back often and leave comments. This will help investors see that we are building something here.
Beer news, art, and more beer, and podcasts are on the way. Surprises lurk in the future. Stay up and drink good beer, responsibly.

Sorry for my absence. I’m in finals mode, up till 6 am playing Skate 2. Did I say that? Uh oh. Actually I’ve been working till 4 am, Skate till 6 am. Whatever, I’m wasting time as I type. Meanwhile, why don’t you take a shot at this Photoshop beer glass tutorial. I took a shot at it late one night and only made it halfway. Seems like Illustrator would be faster and easier. Maybe I’ll try it again when I’m awake.

It’s been a super busy day so I wasn’t able to get a mix recorded so, for the time being, enjoy this refix. Hopefully that will keep you satisfied for a couple of days. Mix is coming soon.

Looks like Sierra Nevada is getting into the fuel game, making ethanol from spent brew yeast.
“Creating ethanol from discarded organic waste is an excellent example of how the MicroFueler can help eliminate our reliance on the oil industry infrastructure. This is especially true when considering Americans reportedly discard 50 percent of all agricultural farmed products,” said Tom Quinn, E-Fuel founder and chief executive officer. “Using a waste product to fuel your car is friendlier to the environment and lighter on your wallet, easily beating prices at the gas pump.”
I’m all for that. I truly believe that beer & weed can solve all of the worlds problems.
Story here.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program. A man is charged with shooting a cooler to get beer, and an author says beer belly is a sign of male menopause.
I love my job.
